I started this blog in late 2009. At first it was a place for me to share stories of being a former Jehovah's Witness. I never planned on blogging all the time, and in the beginning I didn't. However over time I realized I needed a place to vent about various issues which consisted mostly of religion. Through this blog you can see my evolving views from being a scared girl to a strong women.
Although proud of this journey I did not want people to think I was all about hot topic issues and Atheist rants. So I started blogging about me. I blogged about my life, emotions, relationships, and all the in between. I am proud of the way my blog has turned out. Although maybe not the most interesting one out there, this blog is me. It is my life with all the struggles and revelations included. Don't get me wrong I am still as opinionated as ever, but now it is not all about the controversy.

I am many things. Mostly though I am someone who knows life is about growth, change, and enjoying the journey. I love reading and on average get through about 1 book a week. I am also a professional photographer. InspiredPhotographyCT.com is where you can see my work. I enjoy planning on how I will decorate my future house, name future kids, and dream of the person I will someday become.
I am also an avid animal lover and have a cocker spaniel named Shiloh, who is my shadow and never leaves my side. Two cats, Micah whom I watched being born in 2000 when our cat gave birth and is mean to pretty much everyone but me, his mama. Vester is a cat Istole rescued from a home down the street when he was just a kitten, he was being left out in below freezing temperatures, so on my way walking home from the bus stop I called him to me and took him home. He is still a very fearful baby, even after all these years, but he loves to be cuddled and have his belly rubbed.
G and I
8 Years of ups, downs, good, and bad times. We are not an average couple. We have faced difficulties in our early years that few could ever understand. I had to choose between him, us really, and my religion. I made the right choice. We are passionate, we do fight sometimes, but at the end of the day we belong to each other. We are also polar opposites. He is a non-practicing Catholic, I am an Atheist. He is conservative and mellow. I am wild, and a free spirit. He is passive aggressive, I let it all out. This is what makes us work, this is what makes us fight. We bring out the best of each other most of the time, and the worse some of the time. However we both put in the work that it takes to make our relationship strong, and in this aspect we are the same. We are getting married on 08-10-2013 and could not be happier.
