Best Buddies

Tyler has always been a grandma's boy. In fact most of his ( and all us kids) he has lived with her. Grandma now lives with me and Tyler still loves her just as much. He is 10, but is the sweetest 10-year-old boy you will ever meet in your life! So below are two of my favorite people and they of course love each other and are best buds:)

Two witch cousins fight over their high school crush. It's a battle between black magic and white magic in Spellbinder.

Review

Night World is a wonderful read and a great series. The way the stories flow into one another is beautifully done. The author has a way of relating even the most supernatural of characters to us, the readers. This book is made of 3 separate stories and honestly the stories seemingly get better and better. My favorite is definitely Daughters Of Darkness, I am a sucker for bad boys gone good. Ash is a really interesting character and the way the story ended there is room for a lot more on him.

Besides Harry Potter I have never read books that had witches in them, and the witches in these stories are awesome. I can not wait to read more about them and their history. The vampires are pretty wicked too. I love the fact that there are both made vampires and born vampires, this is something I have not seen in other books and makes for a great little twist.

The two major factors I need not like about the book was the "soul mate principle" and that this realm of supernatural beings is called "nightworld". I know these are just names, but I thought they were too obvious and the author could have been a little more creative in this regard. Over all these are a must read for any who loves fantasy books.

Share It Saturday:Lifetime

This Weeks Share It Saturday is all about events I would like to see happen in my lifetime. I can honestly go on and list thousands of global and personal things I would love to see happen, but for the sake of time and my readers I think I will narrow down the list quite a bit. Let me start with global issues and then work on to personal ones.

See a cure for cancer

This is one of the most realistic goals I would like to see happen in my lifetime. I know deep down in my heart that a cure is out there just waiting to be discovered. I know there are thousands of other diseases in the world, but the thing with cancer is that it can attack anyone at any time. Most other diseases are either genetic or come later in life. Cancer though, no one is ever safe from. Even babies and children. This fact alone is why this made the top of my list.

See more people/nations become Atheist

I have always believed that everyone deserves the right to their own beliefs. However in case you have not noticed the majority of the worlds problems have their roots in religion. It is no secret that I dislike most religions. In my eyes it tears people and families apart, and does more harm than good. If more people were Atheist or even Agnostic this world would be a better place. Most people assume Atheist are immoral people, when in fact nothing is farther from the truth. All Atheist want peace. We know this is the only life we get, so let us enjoy it and not suffer.

Have a beautiful home and photography studio

I have never wanted a mansion. What I have always wanted was a little brick house out in the country with a small farm. I want a pool and a big garden. I would also like vines growing up the side of my house. Not too much to ask for right? I would like my photography studio near my house in a separate smaller house. This would be my perfect life and we would live in this house for our whole lives and when we are gone it would be our kids house. That would be my fairytale

Have 4 kids

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted two boys and two girls. It just seems to fit. I would have the first two semi-close together and wait awhile and then have the next two preferably a set of twins (one boy one girl). Yes this would be perfection in my eyes.

Don't forget to leave your responses here!

Just Another Typical Day Of Madness

Depending on what day you come to my house it will either be completely boring, or total madness. The majority of the time like 99.9% there is at least one little monster running around, and other times there can be up to five! Yes five. Personally I love having all my kiddos here, but the down side is the mess they make! Right now it is not the biggest deal in the world because we are in the middle of repainting and reflooring, but once everything is done  they are going to cleaning every little mess they make lol ( I can wish right?)

Also let me not forget the 5 furbabies I have...Trust me they are not little angels either! Actually they make more messes then the kids. Like my devil twins Jake & Jack who seem to find it funny to jump on the coffee table, slide, and knock everything off of it. Or Shiloh who if god forbid I leave him in a room by himself for a second will scratch at the door like there is a damn fire! It can be crazy at times, but I do love it.

My oh so messy house and the monsters who destroy it

In this blog I have written about my own personal demons, my fear of the "C" word, and of course my belief that religion is dooming us as a species. The one thing that I nor a lot of other bloggers out their like to write about is the gruesome reality of violence that this world possess. I came across this site by chance and have been reading it for almost two days straight. In some strange way I find it fascinating and I think that is basic human nature. Violence attracts us, however today I really meditated on some of the stories I was reading, specifically the ones about children.

The stories about parents or family members harming or killing their children is simply beyond my comprehension. I know no one in my family would ever do anything close to hurting a child, let alone one of our own. What really scared me were the stories about boyfriends or family friends killing, torturing, and molesting even infants! I think of Airi or Tyler, even Jocey, and just knowing there are people out there in this world who would want to harm them scares me more than anything. I can not even think about it without getting a panic attack.

I am 100% Atheist, but sometimes I really wish there was a hell for people like this. I also wish this country gave zero rights to anyone who harms a child. Put them in a room with the victims loved ones and let them seek justice on their own. My heart goes out to anyone who has ever had to deal with a tragic event like the ones mentioned on the site. It also makes me appreciate the life I do have even more. I hope you will too.

This Week In Moments

So as some may know I had no internet for about a week! I am a self-proclaimed web addict so needless to say this was a challenge for me. I made it though and I ended up doing better than I expected. A lot of time was spent reading and of course spending time with the little monster. I also got take a ton of pictures and came up with a new idea for my blog which you can check out here.

Airi is amazing every little thing she does is magical and of course Tyler and Jocey are crazy, but completely funny as hell. I read a bunch of books, and therefore have a million reviews to do in the up coming weeks. Anyways here are some pictures I took during my internetless week. Small moments mean the most<3 Oh I should also mention my little brother seems to have a nitch for photography he took some awesome pictures of Airi today! Also happy birthday Destiny! 7 is a lucky number<3

& I'm Home

I redid my blog today.....I finally feel like it is home. I know have everything that I have ever wanted out of a blog. Now it is my escape, my journal, my life. Girly ,artistic, edgy,I am all here and represented. Yes now I can fully express myself. Be prepared for the good the bad and the complete and utter weirdness I spew. Now some randomness I have forgotten to mention the past few weeks

Izzy & Bella grew balls. literally. Their testicles dropped and they are now little boys. Apparently it can take up to 6-8 months for them to drop. So their new names are Jacob & Jackson AKA Jack & Jack. I now have all boy animals. Oh well I still love them just the same!

I am still sick. Yeah it freakin sucks, but oh well. Now my throat hurts because of all the coughing! Ugh oh well. I have no idea when out house is getting recarpented I hope it is soon, I am always in better spirits when things are organized and pretty beautiful. That is about it. Now a few pics!

Yes there is Jack and Jake<3

Pixes Are So In

For a few months now I have had an obsession with pixies. Not the Disney Tinkerbell crap, but real pixies. I love the lore and magic of them. The stories are not as well-known as lets say werewolves or vampires, but they are as awesome. Plus in some cases they are known to be very beautiful. Like pint size angels. Airi is so a little pixie princess. She is full of magical and mischief, that there has to be something other worldly about her.

Yeah pixies are so in and I am completely in love with one.

Over My Head

I Have Been....In LaLa Land

Life is a total drama queen. Seriously. For about two weeks now life has found a way to bring me down just a little bit more each day. At the rate I am going I will be dead by august. One day it is my back, the next I have a cold, then my car decides to break on me. Which means I had to cancel all the photography consultations I had. So yeah my life is kind of sucking right now. Plus there are a zillion things that need to be done. Thankfully there are 3 kids, a hubby, and a grandma who keep me on track and make me feel better, when I just wanna give it all up.

Airi is so beautiful and amazing. She is so funny and just keeps me and everyone else laughing. Jocey is my sidekick and she really helps keep me grounded. We are reading partners and youtube buddies lol. Tyler is my little man. When I see him he always looks so much older. I want to stop time so he never grows up. 10 is to old already. Grayling is my physiologist he is there when I need to vent or simply when I just need a hug. I love that boy, you should all be very jealous. Grandma is my rock. She is always there for me no matter what. When I have a problem or need someone to calm me it is her I go to. She keeps me sane.

On this site I need to do 4 book reviews Night World,Fade,Speak, and Change Of Heart.I also have to add pics and all that good stuff. By the way does my blog seem to girly? Seriously I need answers! On the Atheist Chicks site I have written a few blogs that have been floating in my head for a while, and I still have to update Amber's picture.

I need to mention that I am in love with the show Weeds, it took me 3 weeks to get through all the current seasons and the show is awesome! I so recommend it! It has been my lala land these pass few weeks. I love escape from reality.  So yeah that has been about it really. I am going to try to keep the blog updated , because it is like my diary. Did I mention how adorable Airi is?
