Ok as some of you may or may not know I suffer from Twi-pression,which is a sub category of depression. What happens is every time I read any of the Twilight series or see any of the movies, I become extremely blue. Yeah I know I am crazy...but I really can't help it, Twilight is wrapped into my soul and I am so in love with the series! Anyways Eclipse was more than AMAZING. Even if you are not a fan of the movies or the books, this one is a must see!

The acting in this one is extremely improved from the first two, K-Stw actually smiles! The tension between Edward,Jacob, and Bella is so good you can feel it inside of you. Not to mention we finally get to see a bunch of make-out sessions! We also get to see tons of action and Learn more about both the Cullens and the Wolves. Bottomline is Eclipse is about 10x better than both Twilight and New Moon put together! I honestly wished David Slade had directed the first two!

There was not much of a downside, however a few things did disappoint me just a little. The major one was the music. Although most of it was very fitting, I felt like it did not flow as well as in the first two. It seemed to be more of a backdrop, In the other two it was more of intricate part of the story. Also the camera work on all the characters where too focused. In pretty much every scene the background is blurred to the point that it kind of becomes a distraction.

So F'ing Excited!

So I got my Camera!! Instead of getting The Nikon D5000 I got my Canon Rebel,which is what I wanted to begin with! I feel complete, corny I know but still true none the less. All I need now is an extra battery and memory card, a 100mm lens, and a telephoto lens. Oh also a few reflectors and a case. I am taking about 400 pics a day(practice makes perfect!) and am going to start building my portfolio soon. Here is my camera and a few shots I took!

Birthday Blues

So today started of with a real "bang". Lets just say I woke up in a horrid moon and I did not want to be around anyone. G and I got into a huge fight because I was completely upset that he did not get me anything for my B-day. Of course it turned out he was getting my camera next week and wanted to surprise me. I felt a little dumb, but still mad he did not even get me a card!

I got over it quick. He after all did make me a carrot cake and took me out to lunch. We had an adventure my car broke and we had to dish out like 200 to get it flushed and get an oil change. I swore I would not tell what he did to break my car, but lets just say it was really stupid and funny!

That night I went to Guntown cemetery with my peeps and we lasted like 2 minutes. I was more nervous about wild animals and big foot than ghost. However when one of them said "they saw a person behind the grave" we booked the hell out of there! Then I was extremely close to smoking pot for the first time...Yes I am 22 years old and have never even touched a cigarette let alone weed. My sister thankfully talked me out of it and I am so glad I did not let a monetary lapse of judgment make me do something I know I would have regretted. Just say no kids!

So needless to say it was an interesting day! Oh I should also mention that my mommy got me a bunch of awesome stuff including a pair of hello kitty pink flip-flops and a new moon shirt! "Airi" got me a new moon framed huge painting!!! Heather made me death by chocolate and of course my baby is getting my camera! I didn't even have a drink! Maybe tonight I will have a shot of banana rum with rose though :)

Birthday Wishes

So I am 22 tomorrow...This sucks because I do not want to get older....I am very happy being 21 forever. Anyways since I have not yet mastered how to control time, and still have not found a sparkly vampire to bite me here is my wish list.

Dear Josh,

You have only been around for about half my life, but in this time you have helped me realize what kind of person I want to be. I am far from a perfect person and as everyone knows I am extremely jealous. So when you walked through the door and into our lives I was so not having it! Instead of taking off like most men would, you stuck around and dealt with everything I put you through. At the time I hated that I could not get rid of you lol, but now I know it was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

In the early years when we eventually became friends, you were seriously the coolest person I knew. You taught me about FF7 the best game ever! You also shaped my love for music particularly Green Day and other punk and grudge bands. This was just the start of  what you would teach me. As the years went by you were always there when I fought with my mom or dad and needed someone to vent to. Or if I just needed someone to hang out with. You also gave me the best little brother ever, and the reason he is the best is because he is just like you,except maybe a little more crazy which is from his Echevarria side!

When my father basically walked out of my life, you were there. During the best 5 years things have been rough, but you have never gave up on me. Because of you I know what a real father is. I know that no matter how impossible my dreams are if I believe in myself I will achieve them. You know me just as much as a father who has known their children from birth and in a lot of ways I believe our bond is stronger because it had to be built. I know I don't call you dad. The only reason is because I am so used to calling you Josh. In reality though you are my dad and will always be. I love you and thanks for always being there.

Review

I have wanted to read this book for quite some time now and I must say overall I am so glad I did. This book is filled with everything. From political and social dilemmas to love and friendship. So needless to say it is never boring. The characters are so relatable that you find yourself in their shoes wondering what choices you would make if you were them. Elphaba is amazing I saw so many parables between the two of us that she completely won over my heart. She is not "wicked" , but rather misunderstood.

I also enjoy the fact that Glinda is not all good. She tends to be very snobby at first and views herself as better than most. However she does become a likable character through her friendship with Elphie. This is the best part of the whole book. I love that although complete opposites they become comrades who learn from each other.

Some parts of the book tend to be confusing and drawn out, but as a whole this book is worth the read. I must advice that you take a few key points into consideration though. First this book is NOT for children or young teens. There is sex and violence galore. Also if you have seen the musical be prepared. The book is much different and darker than the show.

Road To Discovery

Sometimes you always know what your role in life is going to be, other times you find it quite on accident. I am the later. I always thought I wanted to be a nurse. I am smart and have always been fascinated with the medical field. However it was never my passion. To be honest for a long time I never really knew what my passion in life was.

I started graphic design as a hobby and although I loved it, it was a fun hobby and nothing more. What it did though was get me prepared for my real passion which was to come. My little Air Bear was born and I loved capturing moments with her. Believe it or not some of my early favorites are taken with a cell phone camera.



I realized I was pretty good at capturing moments I loved. Once I got my point and click camera I took thousands of pictures. Of everything and everyone. I started to learn about positioning and light, of course I still had a long way to go.





Now I am ready for the next step. I know this is what I want to do with my life, so I need to dive in. I still have my point and click, but soon I hope to get my DSLR. I can not wait. I know I take amazing pictures with my little digital camera and can not wait to see what I will do with a "professional" camera.

A Boring Day Turned Productive

Today was boring. All I did was nap and read. However once evening came I got a little more productive and redid the blogs of two of my besties! You can check them out here and here.
